Detail
01
What we collect
Balasden collects the information needed to run club memberships. For clubs, that includes account details, branding, membership configuration, and payment setup data. For members, that includes the information required to purchase and hold a membership, such as name, email, phone number, and any required club questions.
We also collect technical usage information such as device and browser data, access times, and basic interaction data so the platform can be operated and improved.
02
How it is used
Club information is used to provide the product, configure membership flows, route payments, and support dashboard operations. Member information is used to process signups, complete payments, create memberships, and allow clubs to administer those memberships.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to improve reliability, reduce operational friction, and refine the product.
03
How it is shared
Member information is shared with the relevant club because that club is the organisation delivering the membership. We also rely on service providers such as Stripe for payment processing and infrastructure vendors for hosting and storage.
Where disclosure is required by law, or needed to prevent fraud, security abuse, or platform misuse, information may be disclosed accordingly.
04
Retention and contact
We retain operational and transaction data for as long as needed to run the platform, meet compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain financial records where required.
